Lilli Palmer ( German/Austrian 1914 – 1986)
Lilli Palmer was a gracious, beautiful actress popular both in USA and Europe. She was the daughter of a Jewish German surgeon and a Jewish Austrian actress. She flew Germany and the Nazis in 1932 and went to Paris, where she was a dancer at the Moulin Rouge in order to support herself. She married Rex Harrison and moved to America where she became a successful actress.
